Mrs. Klaas was raised in the village of Ithaca in Southwest Wisconsin, on a dairy farm with her six siblings. Her grandmother and her parents were very active Catholics in their local parish at Keyesville, WI. Mrs. Klaas graduated from Ithaca High School in 1975, and then went on to UW Center-Richland and then UW-Platteville to acquire her Bachelor of Science degree with a K-8 Elementary Education license. In 1995, she graduated from UW-Superior with her Master of Science Degree and K-12 Principal License. Mrs. Klaas has 13 years of teaching experience and 23 years of administrative experience in both public and private schools in Spring Green, Rice Lake, Sun Prairie, and now Ashton.
Her husband and she have three children and 6 grandchildren who they enjoy watching and being with. Mrs. Klaas loves the Catholic Faith and her prayer is for all the St. Peter children and their families to one day be saints in heaven.
